A Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator, Peggy received her BS degree in Nutrition from the University of Rhode Island, then completed her Dietetic Internship at Barnes Medical Center in St Louis, Missouri.
Before joining HealthWayRI in 1982, Peggy served as Chief Dietitian at the Fatima Unit of St Joseph Hospital in North Providence. She has served on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association, Diabetes Association, and the American Dietetic Association.
Peggy has been actively involved in public policy concerning nutrition issues, and has lectured on weight management and medical nutrition therapy for heart disease and diabetes.
Peggy gets so much satisfaction out of seeing her clients succeed. She enjoys working closely with each individual, teaching them how to make basic and permanent lifestyle changes and tailoring meal plans to meet their unique needs.
