A Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator, Amanda received her BS degree in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Rhode Island, then completed her Dietetic Internship at Southcoast Health in New Bedford, MA. She received her Masters in Applied Nutrition with a concentration in Obesity and Eating Disorders from Northeastern University.
Before joining HealthWayRI, Amanda spent 14 years working for Southcoast Health in the Cardiac Prevention Program and Diabetes Management Program.
Amanda enjoys teaching people new ways to look at food and nutrition. She believes healthy food should be flavorful and satisfying.
